Down the River
My Love For You Flows Like A Constant River.
Krit is openly gay, his oldest and deepest friend, Win is questioning.  They have grown up together.  They are as close as two boys can be.  The fact that one is gay means nothing to the the other.  As they have grown older, getting ready to separate for college, their love is coming to a test.  Is it more than that of friends or is it something deeper?  Krit has fallen deeply in love with Win.  He keeps a book of pressed flowers, a book of memories of the moments that they have shared.  When the two finally explore their passion, what will be the result?
Originally made as a college graduate film, “Down the River” is a daring exploration of friendship and intimacy seldom seen from Thailand.  Shot it in the countryside, forests and temples of an ancient land the film is beautiful and sweeping more tone poem than film.  We can only hope that more will come from a film maker of this talent.

Mango Souffle
Mango Soufflé is the first openly gay male film from India and is an eye-opening exploration of gay sexuality and relationships in a culture that is far from accepting.
This heartfelt drama begins when gay fashion designer Kamlesh, reeling from a recently ended relationship, invites a group of friends (of all sorts) for dinner for a special announcement. The situation reaches a boiling point when Kamlesh’s sister arrives with her new fiancé, a man with an explosive secret. From there the action whips into a frenzy as sexual tensions build and skeletons fly out of the closet.
Writer/director Mahesh Dattani’s colorful directorial debut (based on his own acclaimed play) is a breezy, tangy and colorful peek into the contemporary life of Indian gay culture.

Yours Emotionally Trailer
Yours Emotionally
"An intoxicating queer journey through India”
Two best friends, Ravi and Paul, go on vacation to India where they attend an all night, eye-opening gay sex party. Surprised by the openness of their hosts and the aggressiveness of the guests, the boys fall into the steadily growing Indian gay culture. Ravi is especially bitten hard as he falls for the good looking but deeply closeted Mani. Will caste, economics and customs allow these two love birds a happy ending or will the forces of tradition and homophobia keep them apart?
Fueled by flirting, erotic performances and open sex, “Yours Emotionally” is a revealing film about the growing Indian gay community. The camera lingers over the hot bodies of Indian men and never shirks from giving gay men a sexuality seldom seen from this part of the world. Sirdhar Rangayan uses both traditional and experimental film techniques to build a story of love, compassion and truth in a society that is only now beginning to accept gay people for who they are.

A teen movie with a twist. Not afraid to show life in Japan as it really is, film maker Ryosuke Hashiguchi weaves a story of two young Tokyo hustles trying to make something of their drab lives.
Tatsuro is a sullen teenager who would rather spend his time turning tricks than going to school. Working out of a hustler bar he remains an aloof professional, never shying away from even the kinkiest of requests. His best friend, Shin, while not as good at turning tricks likes to hang around Tatsuro to pick up pointers.
The story climaxes when Shin admits his true love to Tatsuro, forcing Tatsuro to face the reality of his life and a future he has never planned for.
This never before available DVD is Ryosuke Hashiguchi first feature film. In it he displays the style and talent that would become his trademark in his other films, “Like Grains of Sand” and the very popular “Hush.”

One day, Yangyang accidentally discovers that his father is gay. After tracing his dad’s unknown past and hidden secrets, Yangyang confronts his dad’s partner, Xiaoyong. While this brings Yangyang no answers, it does make him begin to question his own life. Surprising himself he falls in love with another man, Haobin. But when Yangyang discovers Haobin’s true profession, their love is tested.
This is the framework around which Cui Zi’en once again delves into his favorite subject matter, street hustlers in China. This film, which breaks and restructures the styles of drama, documentary and subject interviews, provides a rarely seen glimpse into the world of gay sex workers in China.

One of the first Chinese openly-gay underground films to make it to the big screen, “The Old Testament” offers a rare glimpse at gay life behind communist borders. Biblical references weave together three engaging vignettes on the topics of sexuality, homophobia and AIDS.
In “Song of Solomon” a male couple receives an unexpected visitor: an ex-boyfriend with AIDS. Faced with a commitment to provide hospice care for the former lover, the couple must confront the demise of their own relationship. “Proverbs” follows the love triangle between a married man, his wife, and his gay lover. As the bisexual husband attempts to get the best of both worlds, the feuding wife and lover begin to wonder if he is worth the fight. “Psalter” concludes the trilogy as a straight couple schemes outrageously to prevent the husband’s younger brother from sleeping with his “special friend.”

Arisan!
Arisan! (The Gathering)

A satirical comedy set in Jakarta about friendship, homosexuality, adultery and the shallowness of the nouveau riche, “Arisan!” caused quite a stir in Indonesia when it presented the first openly gay kiss between the two male leads.
Sakti is a handsome young architect living in Jakarta with his nagging mother. He is so deep in the closet that even he has not figured out he likes men. But those around him begin to suspect something is up when Sakti meets Nino, a good looking TV producer.
Set around the traditional Arisan (gatherings) where women get together and gossip the afternoon away, this film is a wonderful look at Indonesian society and people’s ability to accept each other no matter what the circumstances.
